In 1986 Richard was told he had only two (2) years to live due to the amount of blockages in his heart. His heart was so blocked, with over 90% of the arteries blocked, that surgery was not an option. In addition to learning he was suffering from coronary artery disease, he was also unable to pass his flight physical.  Flying has always been a passion for him.  Richard heard about a health shake that would reduce cholesterol that caused heart blocks. He started on the shake at age 44 and after two years a check showed a significant reduction in blockage and his cholesterol had dropped from 360 to 165. Richard opted for the heart by-pass and continued to take the shake and started to work out. Two years later, Richard had another Treadmill with Thallium and it showed no blockages at all; in fact, a heart cath was done and to the physicians amazement even the old blocked arteries were now open. At this point, he reapplied for his flight physical and this time passed.  To this day, he has passed the rigors of the flight physical every year without difficulty and continues to fly.

Richard purchased the rights to the health shake and has traveled from coast to coast speaking to large groups with Dr. Robert DePugh creator of the IT's Life Shake. In addition to the fabulous health shake, he also manufactures and distributes the Best all-purpose cleaner there is.  IT Cleans Everything was originally marketed in Wal-Mart and Sam's stores.  IT consistently out-sold every other cleaning product they handled.  Richard is a firm believer in doing his best and only selling the best.  That must be why when he was racing, he raced Porsche race cars.
